Phenomenal opportunity for a consultative business developer with experience of Technical Sales to work for the market leader in their field that has been established for over 90 years. This is a highly varied new business development role within the world market leader in the manufacture and design of flooring systems and associated service contracts. The role is covering the M1 Corridor which includes Berkshire, Herts, Beds, Bucks and North London.

As the market leaders in their specialist field this is a rare role where the employer would prefer to hire a successful and tenacious business-to-business sales professional of graduate calibre with technical sales experience from outside of the industry.

The company provide a wide range of flooring products into large commercial and industrial buildings. Clients include: food, drink and pharmaceutical manufacturers, warehouses, chemical, electronics manufacturers, automotive, defence, aeronautical and others. Often the solutions are completely engineered to the individual client needs and can therefore be highly consultative solution sales. The sale is complex as typically a project is worth in excess of £50K and normally requires multiple senior level sign off.

It therefore requires a tenacious individual that is highly commercially oriented with true business development qualities, i.e. a sales professional with good sales habits that will research and plan target clients and will work to processes to systematically begin to close their 'pipeline' down.
The sales team is enthusiastic and dynamic and they are looking for a positive, vibrant and infectious personality that is committed, headstrong, forthright and loyal; someone that is hungry for business and self development and driven by both targets and continuous improvement.
