Sales jobs: Graduates need a rounded education

Recent university-leavers need to have been given an education about the environment as well as academic teachings, according to one expert, whose comments could interest people looking for graduate sales jobs.

Johnny Rich, editor of the independent guide to UK universities, Push.co.uk, said that educators must set an example for students when it comes to the environment.

He said: "Sending graduates out into the world without demonstrating that everything we do has an impact on our environment would certainly be a betrayal of this notion of providing a 'universal' education."

Mr Rich added that universities are among the leading innovators in terms of research and developing ideas so they should also be at the forefront of giving graduates information about how they can reduce their impact on the environment.

In other news, Martin Pennington, a director at the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, recently said there are a healthy amount of graduate sales jobs available for recent university leavers.
