New generation of entrepreneurs to encourage graduates into sales jobs

Young entrepreneurs from ethnic minority backgrounds who have been showcased in the latest Power List should inspire graduates from different backgrounds to do well in sales jobs.

Piers Linney, one of the people listed in New Nation's Power List, said that many young graduate entrepreneurs were driven by a huge will to succeed.

The Power List, which is sponsored by JP Morgan and Thomson Reuters, chronicles who the leading black people in Britain are, showcasing black men and women who have scaled the heights in areas such as business, politics, finance and the law.

Mr Linney said: "Visible role models with African and Caribbean heritage that have succeeded in business will provide encouragement to others, as we need more diversity around the UK's boardroom tables."

He also commented that publications such as the Power List are introduced to celebrate success and inspire other graduates looking to break into sales jobs.
