Expert: Sense of optimism returning to human resources sector
Despite the difficult economic conditions "a sense of optimism" is returning to the human resource sector, according to a graduate sales recruitment body.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for the AGR and its members and means that we will be able to lead the debate surrounding the extremely important issues that affect graduates and the graduate employment market," said Carl Gilleard, chief executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters.
He added that the body is going to be consulted by the government on a range of issues, including graduate unemployment and sales recruitment, tuition fees and recording student achievement.
Mr Gilleard also said that the AGR was going to publish at least six major new briefing papers for graduate sales recruitment firms over the next 12 months on topics such as technology, motivation and marketing.
Last week Mr Gilleard commented that graduate recruitment positions should not intimidate applicants, joking that "they are not bushtucker trials".
Aaron Wallis offer graduate sales jobs across a wide range of industry sectors. For Employers, Aaron Wallis offer a unique Assessment Centre solution and graduate sales recruitment service backed by a 12 month rebate period.
