Many employers 'are still taking on graduates'
Young graduates hoping for sales recruitment success have been told that employers are still taking them on.
Despite claims by the Liberal Democrats, which showed that there has been an increase in the number of unemployed graduates, an expert has claimed that there is still a large deal of hope out there.
Dan Hawes, co-founder of the Graduate Recruitment Bureau, said that many employers are still searching for promising graduates.
"In our experience, we find that lots of employers are still looking for graduates but maybe not necessarily on a graduate scheme," he added.
Mr Hawes also added that, if companies decide to cut back on their graduate recruitment, they are missing out on fresh talent.
The expert added that there were still plenty of opportunities out there in the jobs market, although competition is likely to be stiff, as the selection criteria is currently being upped by sales recruitment specialists.
