Graduates advised to start their sales recruitment plans now
People who are hoping to graduate from university in 2010 should start their sales recruitment planning now, according to a financial worker.
Henry Sparling, a finance graduate, told the Guardian that many companies have already opened up recruitment schemes for 2010 and now would be an ideal time to start looking for a position.
He added that the most important lesson he took out of university was the importance of having a strong CV.
"Learning skills and gaining experience are vital pre and post-graduation, but a strong CV is the most important thing come the end of university life because that is the key you need to even get an interview. In hindsight, I would have started work on my CV far earlier in my university career," he added.
FRCA.co.uk advised graduates to give a comprehensive background on their CVs, detailing training, academic, generic and social skills and experiences.
