Graduate Sales Recruitment News

Graduates offer small firms a 'great opportunity'

Small firms will recognise the skills that graduates can bring to sales jobs, according to an industry expert.

Prue Watson, spokesperson for the Federation of Small Businesses, said that, conversely, graduates also know that looking for sales recruitment success within a firm will also be good for them.

"Small businesses are planning to hire graduates in the coming year. In a recent survey of the Federation of Small Businesses members, one in five said they planned to take on a graduate intern," she said.

Ms Watson added that small businesses know that graduates offer them a great opportunity and want to see more of them going into their firms in intern positions.

A recent survey by the Centre for Enterprise stated that most businesses were not looking to hire graduates this year, but Ms Watson said that the reason for this was that because many of them did not have the resources to do so.
