Apprentice star passes on tips to sales recruitment hopefuls
A former star of the BBC programme The Apprentice has visited a Welsh university this week to offer up career advice to budding sales recruitment hopefuls.
Ruth Badger went along to the University of Glamorgan as part of its Experience Works Week, which is a campaign used to highlight the importance of a good CV.
Gair Rhydd, the Cardiff student weekly, reported that all faculties have been promoting the world of work through a number of different means, with Ms Badger's visit being one of them.
The entrepreneur, who fell at the final hurdle in the programme, told students that an attractive CV was "vital" for those wanting to break into sales jobs.
"Competition is fierce for jobs and it's never been tougher for graduates to get on the employment ladder. I want the students at Glamorgan to realise the importance of real-life work experience when it comes to making their CVs stand out," she added.
Ms Badger is not the only star who has been offering CV advice recently, with the Dragons Den's Shaf Rasul telling readers of the Sun about the importance of a good resume.
