Graduates to benefit from increased dialogue

Graduates seeking sales recruitment opportunities could benefit from increased dialogue between universities and businesses.

Establishing a new partnership is mutually advantageous, because educational institutions will get direct feedback from the working world, while companies will become more competitive after participating in research and training," he added.

Mr Schmitt also commented that with the rate of unemployment being high among young graduates around Europe, it was important to examine whether this was because of poor degrees or firms having excessive expectations.

The need for such research will intensify, with many universities being ultra-competitive this year and funding cuts leading to entry grades being increased.
